The movie central character is Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi, affectionately known as Bajrangi. Bajrangi is an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman, and he lives by strong principles of honesty and integrity. His life takes an unexpected turn when he comes across Munni, a mute and lost young girl from Pakistan who has inadvertently crossed the border into India. Bajrangi takes it upon himself to reunite Munni with her family in Pakistan, despite the obvious hurdles and diplomatic challenges.
